Isherwood, n. Christopher, full name Christopher William Bradshaw-Isherwood. 1904-86, U.S. novelist and dramatist, born in England. His works include the novel "Goodbye to Berlin" (1939) and three verse plays written in collaboration with W.H. Auden.
